As a result, I created 12 Stages of The Alm in collaboration with Aldona Cunningham. The project had a number of manifestations. 12/stages3 [a memory theatre] took the form of photographic works, projections & items of evidence installed at the Curtain Theatre as part of the 1999 Festival of British Visual Theatre. 12/stages2 [a forensic mnemonic] was a 34-minute film, screened at the 10th World Wide Video Festival, Amsterdam & 9th Biennale de L’image en Mouvement, Geneva, 2001. The research undertaken during this time has had a lasting legacy in terms of the formal & conceptual development of my work. Many of the qualities discovered surface in my most recent project, Trans-Acts which has been shown in Glasgow, Brussels and now in London as part of the SPILL Festival of Performance
