My time in the Piatigorsky class at the University of Southern California under the tutelage of Lynn Harrell represented the final year in my eight-year musical training. Upon returning to London, I began a decade-long career that included performing and recording with London-based orchestras and chamber ensembles as well as a significant involvement in theatre productions, most notably at the National Theatre. I also performed and recorded with European Ensembles, including the Ulster and National Symphony Orchestras of Ireland, the Welsh PM Ensemble, as well as the National Symphony Orchestra of Iceland. At the turn of the Millennium I began training as a psychotherapist because a musical career was becoming increasingly unsustainable. I became a Certified Transactional Analyst in 2006 and now run a private practice in South West London as well as teaching and consultancy at a number of therapeutic institutions.
