In 1995 I obtained Wingate funding to attend the post-graduate course at the Royal Academy of Music where I studied flute with Sebastian Bell and Michael Cox. Since leaving the Academy, I have been working as a free-lance flute-player and teacher. Playing has taken me to Russia, Japan, China, India, USA, Malaysia, Taiwan, and all over Europe, and I am currently visiting flute teacher at Abingdon School and St. Edward's in Oxford. I am a member of the London Mozart Players and have played regularly with the BBC Symphony and English Chamber Orchestras, the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Welsh and English National Opera and many other British orchestras. I have a duo with the harpist Helen Cole.
