Quite simply, more time in which to do more work. This began in 1991. In 1992, I had the first solo show at the then, newly opened, Beardsmore Gallery in London. This coincided with another much larger exhibition of my work which filled the Woodlands Gallery in Blackheath. The media attention attracted to these two overlapping exhibitions resulted in a major profile of my work appearing in the Saturday magazine of the Independent newspaper, some more attention in the art press and a review and interview on BBC Radio 4’s arts programme of the time, ‘Kaleidoscope’. There have been more exhibitions since then and my work has found its way into several public and private collections.
