Joel Katzav's Wingate Scholarship enabled him to complete a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge in January 1999, and to concurrently publish some of his work. He has since held a variety of academic positions in the UK and the USA, working as a lecturer in Philosophy and a researcher in Applied Computing.
He is currently a lecturer at the University of Leeds.
